Design Process
The customer want the brand to appear 'perfectly imperfect', kind and personal as to match the style of her photos.
It should be versatile so it can be used across various platforms.
It should be targeted toward customers who value a good personal relation, and who are motivated by paying attention and caring.
I researched different brands within photography and brands that matched the feeling we wanted to achieve. The hand lettered style matched very well, and different styles were tried out and refined.
Logotype
The final logo has organic shapes and curves in an upright cursive style.
The fact that it is handwritten makes it personal by being perfectly imperfect. It is playful and has several small details, reflecting the brand vision and the photographic style.
Instagram Templates
To gain consistency in the Instagram feed and to provide tips and information in between the photos, I created these templates.
I created different layouts for providing different sorts of information, either alone or in a carousel.
